Under this topic, I would urge you to post your good experiences with recipe(s) and/or food product(s), which do not rock your blood glucose level. For example, your know the glycemic index and glycemic load of the ingredient(s) of your recipe(s) and/or food products. It is even better, if you have verified their effect on the blood glucose level with a series of postprandial blood glucose tests. The series of postprandial blood glucose tests includes the fasting or preprandial BG reading before eating the meal of your recipes, followed by BG tests every 15 minutes for the next two to three hours (7-11 tests in total.) The postprandial BG results should preferably be under 120 mg% at all time or, at least, no more than 150 mg%.
I am hoping this topic will collect a wealth of excellent recipes for the members and visitors of the forums and make them easier to adopt the carbohydrate-restricted dietary style.
Thank you very much in advance for your contribution.
